Why our Riverwood head office matters
Most NDIS providers route new enquiries through a shared call centre before a participant ever speaks to the team that will deliver their supports. We don’t. When you call SADC, you reach our Riverwood office directly — the same place our Support Coordinators, Plan Managers and intake team work from every day.
Because we operate from one head office, decisions happen faster. If a participant needs a roster adjustment, a plan query answered, or a same-week start on a new service, the person deciding is usually in the next room. Intake meetings can be held in person at the office, at a participant’s home, or over video — whichever works best for the participant and their family.
Our building is wheelchair-accessible with on-site parking. Drop-in visits are welcome during Mo-Fr 09:00-17:00 — we recommend calling ahead so the right team member is available.
NDIS services we deliver from Riverwood
SADC is a registered NDIS provider. From our Riverwood head office, we deliver five core services across the St George and Canterbury-Bankstown regions. Every engagement starts with a free one-on-one planning conversation — no agreement is signed until you’re comfortable with the plan.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Around-the-clock or scheduled supports in a participant’s own home — shared housing or private rental. Our Riverwood Support Coordinators match staff to personality, routine and cultural needs, with a Registered Nurse overseeing complex care.
Support Coordination
Turn a paper NDIS plan into actual weekly supports — providers booked, agreements in place, budgets tracked, reviews ready. We work independently of providers we refer to, including our own service arms, and send a written monthly summary before every plan review.
Plan Management
NDIS-funded at no cost to the participant. We handle invoices, portal claims, budget tracking and monthly statements. Two-business-day invoice turnaround. You keep choice of any registered or unregistered provider — we never lock you in.
Daily Personal Activities
Help with the day-to-day things that make independent living possible — showering, dressing, grooming, medication, meal prep and mobility. Support workers matched by language, gender preference and routine. Our RN delivers or trains for complex care when the plan includes it.
Community Access & Travel
Weekly outings, skill-building, accompanied travel to medical, education, and community activities. Our vehicles and support workers operate across the St George, Canterbury-Bankstown and Inner West areas. NDIS Travel & Transport billed transparently with receipts.
Also delivered from Riverwood
Short-term accommodation and respite, household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep), and community programs covering skill-building, employment readiness and recreation. If a support isn’t listed but sits within our 16 registered NDIS support categories, we can usually deliver it — call us and we’ll check the fit.
Ready to start? We answer the phones ourselves — no call-centre handoff.
Suburbs we service from Riverwood
Our Riverwood office is the base for all support delivery in the St George, Canterbury-Bankstown and adjacent Hurstville areas. The suburbs below are where we currently have rostered support workers and active participants. If your suburb isn’t listed, call us anyway — we may already be servicing it and just haven’t updated the list.
St George region
Within a 10-minute drive of the office — same-day and short-notice shifts are usually possible:
Canterbury-Bankstown region
Rostered coverage from our Canterbury-Bankstown network — click through for suburb-specific pages where available:
For a full overview of our Canterbury-Bankstown coverage including SIL homes and day programs, see the Canterbury-Bankstown regional hub.
Participants in the Inner West, Sutherland Shire and Eastern Suburbs are served from our Riverwood team too, though travel time is factored into the roster so shifts tend to run in 3-hour-plus blocks rather than short visits. Call us to check feasibility for your specific suburb and support type.
How to start with SADC
You don’t need a referral. Anyone with an active NDIS plan — agency-managed, plan-managed or self-managed — can contact us directly to start services.

Once you’re happy with the proposal, we send a service agreement for you (or your nominee / Plan Manager) to sign. Rosters typically begin within 7–14 days of signing.
Already with another provider and thinking about switching? Read our short guide on how NDIS provider switches work — it’s simpler than most people expect, and your current provider can’t charge an exit fee.

Frequently asked questions
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. SADC Disability Services is registered with the NDIS Commission across the core support categories our participants use. Our registration is verifiable on the NDIS Commission’s public provider register, and our ABN (52 639 765 647) can be confirmed on the Australian Business Register.
Do you service my suburb?
Our core coverage from the Riverwood office is the St George, Canterbury-Bankstown and Hurstville regions — around 16 suburbs where we have rostered staff and existing participants. We also serve the Inner West, Sutherland Shire and parts of the Eastern Suburbs for longer-shift supports. If your suburb isn’t on our list, call us — there’s a good chance we already have a worker nearby.
How quickly can we start services?
Most participants have a signed service agreement within one week of the first call, and rostered supports starting within 7–14 days after that. Same-week starts are possible for participants in our core St George and Canterbury-Bankstown coverage when existing workers have capacity. Plan Management can start within two business days of agreement signing.
Can I switch from my current NDIS provider?
Yes, and the process is more straightforward than most people expect. You give your current provider written notice (check your service agreement for the notice period, typically 14 days), sign a new service agreement with us, and we coordinate the handover. Your current provider cannot charge an exit fee — this is covered by NDIS rules.
Do you offer SIL and daily personal activities together?
Yes. Supported Independent Living funding covers the household-based supports a participant needs in their home, while Daily Personal Activities covers scheduled personal-care supports. When both are in a plan, we roster one team so shifts flow between categories without gaps. Our Registered Nurse oversees the clinical components when the plan includes them.
How does plan management work with your team?
We process invoices within two business days under normal load, claim the funding from the NDIS portal, and pay the provider. You get a monthly statement showing what’s been claimed, what’s left in each category, and any category spending faster than planned. You stay in control — you can use any provider (registered or unregistered), and we never lock you in.
