NDIS Support Coordination Sydney

Making Your Plan Work for You

Navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming. SADC Disability Services NDIS Support Coordination service is designed to help. As a registered NDIS provider in Sydney, our experienced Support Coordinators help participants across Western Sydney, South-West Sydney, and greater Sydney get the most out of their NDIS plan from the day it is approved to every review that follows.

We have supported hundreds of NDIS participants to connect with the right services, resolve plan issues, and build the confidence to self-direct their own support over time.

What Is NDIS Support Coordination?

Support Coordination is a funded support category (Support Category 7) under the NDIS. It exists to help participants understand, implement, and get the best use out of their approved NDIS plan.

A Support Coordinator is not a case manager they are your navigator. They work alongside you and your family or carers to:

  • Interpret your NDIS plan – what your funding covers, which supports are included, and how to use each budget category
  • Connect you with providers – finding registered and unregistered service providers who match your goals, location, and cultural needs
  • Set up service agreements – negotiating terms and making sure your rights are protected
  • Coordinate across multiple services – many participants use 5-8 different providers your Support Coordinator keeps it all aligned
  • Prepare for your NDIS plan review – gathering evidence, documenting outcomes, and advocating for the funding you need
  • Build your capacity – over time, helping you manage more of your plan independently

Support Coordination is distinct from Specialist Support Coordination (for participants with high or complex needs) and Plan Management (which handles the financial administration of your plan). We offer guidance on all three and can help you access whichever combination fits your situation.

The SADC Approach to Support Coordination in Sydney

At SADC Disability Services, our Support Coordinators bring genuine disability sector experience. Our team includes coordinators with backgrounds in social work, disability support, allied health, and lived experience.

Cultural competency: Sydney is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and so is our team. We have coordinators who speak Arabic, Dari, and other community languages, which matters when you are navigating a system as complex as the NDIS.

Local knowledge: We understand the specific services, community programs, and provider landscape across suburbs including Fairfield, Liverpool, Bankstown, Parramatta, Campbelltown, and Blacktown. We know which providers have waitlists, which have vacancies, and which deliver genuine quality.

Participant-centred planning: We have seen firsthand how a well-implemented plan can transform someone’s daily life. That is why we take time to understand each participant’s goals before recommending any supports.

Honest, no-pressure guidance: If something in your plan does not look right, we will say so. We work for you, not for any particular provider network.

Who Qualifies for Support Coordination?

Support Coordination funding must be included in your NDIS plan to access this service. The NDIS includes Support Coordination funding for participants who:

  • Are new to the NDIS and need help implementing their first plan
  • Have complex or high support needs requiring coordination across multiple providers
  • Have experienced significant life changes (hospitalisation, family situation, housing)
  • Have not been able to implement previous plans effectively
  • Are preparing for a plan review and need help building a strong evidence case
