NDIS Plan Management in Liverpool — 2026

Liverpool is one of Greater Western Sydney’s largest NDIS participant communities. Managing an NDIS plan — with its multiple funding categories, provider invoices, and review deadlines — can be complex. Plan management makes it simple.

SADC Disability Services provides NDIS plan management in Liverpool and across Greater Western Sydney. We handle the administration so you can focus on living your life.

What Is NDIS Plan Management?

Plan management is one of three ways to manage your NDIS funding:

Management TypeWho Handles InvoicesProvider Choice
NDIA-managedNDIA directlyRegistered providers only
Plan-managedYour plan manager (SADC)Registered + unregistered providers
Self-managedYouAny provider

When you choose plan management, SADC:

  1. Receives invoices from your support providers
  2. Checks each invoice against your plan and NDIS guidelines
  3. Submits claims to the NDIA portal
  4. Pays providers (within 5 business days)
  5. Sends you regular budget statements
  6. Alerts you when a funding category is running low

Critically: Plan management is funded separately by the NDIA under the Improved Life Choices category. It does not reduce your other support budgets.

Why Choose Plan Management Over NDIA-Management?

The main reason: provider choice and flexibility.

NDIA-managed participants can only use registered NDIS providers. In Liverpool and Fairfield, many excellent local allied health professionals, therapists, and community workers are unregistered — often because registration costs and compliance requirements are prohibitive for small practices.

With plan management, you can use both registered and unregistered providers. This opens significantly more options in Liverpool’s diverse service market.

SADC’s Plan Management in Liverpool: What Makes Us Different

Local team. Our plan management coordinators are based in Western Sydney and understand the local provider landscape — who has availability, who’s on a waitlist, which providers work well with CALD communities.

Multilingual support. Liverpool has large Arabic, Vietnamese, and Pacific Islander communities. Our team includes multilingual staff who can communicate in your language.

Fast payment. We pay providers within 5 business days as standard. Your support workers aren’t left waiting for their invoices to be processed.

Transparent statements. You receive clear, easy-to-read monthly budget statements showing exactly what’s been spent in each category and what remains.

Proactive alerts. If a funding category is at risk of running out before your plan renewal date, we contact you early — not when it’s already empty.

2026: Plan Management Under the Revised NDIS Framework

Under the NDIS Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Act 2024, the definition of “NDIS supports” was clarified. As a plan manager, SADC:

  • Ensures all claims are for supports that meet the new NDIS definition
  • Flags any invoices that may fall outside funded supports before processing
  • Keeps up-to-date with 2025–26 NDIS Pricing Arrangements updates

The NDIA’s revised framework also strengthens participant rights in relation to plan management — including the right to change plan managers at any time with written notice.

Switching Plan Managers: How to Move to SADC

If you’re currently plan-managed by another provider and want to switch to SADC:

  1. Check your current service agreement for the notice period (typically 2–4 weeks)
  2. Contact SADC to start the onboarding process
  3. Give written notice to your current plan manager
  4. SADC sets up your providers in our system before your transition date
  5. Invoices are directed to SADC from the agreed start date

We make the transition seamless. You don’t lose funding or miss payment cycles.
